Things to do in Estepona

Estepona’s shoreline covers over 20 kilometres of the Costa del Sol’s coast with 17 different beaches, a mix of golden sands, hidden coves and rocky wild landscapes. Try tapas at the beach bars, go snorkelling, enjoy sunbathing or experiment with some of the watersports.

If you get tired of the beach, however, the nearby Selwo Aventura animal park is a popular attraction with tigers, zebras and lions, camel rides and the longest zipwire in Europe. Or you can stay in the town itself and make the most of the shopping opportunities, such as the Sunday market or the boutiques along Calle Real and Calle Terraza.

Outdoor Activities

Estepona is surrounded by fantastic mountain landscapes which would appeal to any hiker - the best place for a walk here is the Sierra Bermeja range. You could even explore the terrain on horseback with a tour organised by the equestrian centre, which specialises in treks and overnight camping adventures.

If you’d like to try some watersports then head to La Rada Beach which has a centre that offers kayaking, windsurfing and jet-skiing, as well as beginners’ scuba diving courses.

Eating out

For the very best tapas, head to Plaza Las Flores where you can try a different bar each night and get a real taste for the local dishes; chorizo and seafood. For heartier meals, get a table at La Escollera or Restaurante Club Nautico Estepona; both of which offer a fantastic variety of fresh fish and seafood.

When to visit?

The best weather is in the summer, during July and August when temperatures hover in the 30s and sunny days are guaranteed. However, if you prefer cooler temperatures, then we recommend Spring or Autumn.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
