Things to do in Nerja

One of Neerja's key draws is its beaches, all 10 of them, and you have a choice of sweeping sandy coastline or little shingle coves on offer. The most famous beach, Playa Burriana, is a 10-minute walk from town and offers shops and cafes as well as shallow waters for paddling. For more shopping opportunities, Calle Diputacion and Calle Pintada are the places to be. Here you can find wine stores, boutiques and craft shops.

If you want to see some more of the region’s beautiful nature, pay a visit to the marble and limestone caves; here you will see the world’s longest stalactite. In the summer, the caves make a stunning venue for operas and ballets.

Top restaurants in Nerja

It would be a shame to visit Spain without trying some Spanish cuisine, and the restaurant named Oliva do a great take on traditional dishes with a twist. The best places to eat in Nerja can be found just behind the Balcon de Europa, in the pedestrianised area. Here you can enjoy a wide range of international dishes and tapas while catching some sun on the terraces.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
