How long does it take to get to Dublin City Centre
Get from What to see and do Famous birthplace of Oscar Wilde, James Joyce and Samuel Beckett, Dublin has plenty of art and culture to discover. Take a tour of the Dublin Writers Museum, visit Trinity College at the university, or head down to the Irish Film Institute before spending the evening in the cultural quarter at Temple Bar. It’s also home to the world famous Guinness Storehouse and the Old Jameson Distillery, if you don’t like stout. Don’t miss a trip to Dublin Castle either, or relax in the huge green space of the Phoenix Park, where you can see hippos and lions at the Dublin Zoo. Dublin is definitely a destination for foodies, and for some of the best fine dining in the city visitors can’t go wrong with The Cliff Townhouse. This Michelin starred restaurant specialises in seafood and offers a smart cocktail bar upstairs for fancy evenings out. Restaurant FortyOne is another high quality place to eat out, serving up a first-class menu of house specialties. Previous diners include Hillary Clinton. For brunch, Noshington is a cut above the rest, also offering fantastic coffee and cakes. Or for a traditional setting, try Searsons of Baggot Street where you can dine on classic dishes followed by some quality whiskey. The best time of year to go to Dublin is between May and September, when there is a higher chance of good weather and many of the city’s best events and festivals take place. The winter months tend to be cold but relatively dry, and there is lots going on during the festive period around Christmas and New Year’s Eve. At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.
For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
