Why visit Morro Jable?
Located in the south of Fuerteventura, in the Pajara municipality is Morro Jable; one of the most popular resorts on the southern coast. Enjoy some of the best beaches by the Jandia Peninsula as well as exciting activities such as buggy tours, volcano hiking and boat trips. The beach in Morro Jable stretches for several kilometres, with white sand, turquoise waters, sunbeds and umbrellas for hire plus a beach bar. Another lovely beach, within walking distance, is Playa de Butihondo which is often frequented by naturists.
While you are visiting you could also take a trip to the local aloe vera plantation Mirador de “Los Gunaches”, the turtle nursery, Oasis Park (the only zoo in Fuerteventura), Morro Jable Lighthouse and the most beautiful beach on the whole island - Cofete beach. Every Monday and Thursday there is a market held at the Cosmo Shopping centre, and every February or March is the Morro Jable Carnival.
