There are plenty of sights to see during your stay in Arucas, such as the Casa de la Cultura art gallery, the Museo Municipal de Arucas museum, and the Parque Municipal with its water fountain. Founded in 1884, the distillery houses more than 6,000 casks of rum, some of which have been signed by famous spanish singers. The Iglesia de San Juan Bautista (church) is another must-visit, and resembles the famous Sagrada Familia. For families, the best day out has to be GrancAventura, where you’ll find a fun high ropes course and paintballing.
