The best way to get from the airport to your hotel in San Agustin is with a door to door transfer with HolidayTaxis. Pre-book your transport, safe in the knowledge that one of our friendly drivers will be waiting to meet and greet you at arrivals, before whisking you straight to your resort. San Agustin is about 16 miles (26 km) south of Las Palmas Airport, or a 20-minute journey in one of our private taxis, minibuses, wheelchair accessible vehicles or luxury cars. Start your holiday in style with our San Augustin taxi transfers.

You can also choose from our budget travel options, our low-cost shuttle bus and speedy shuttle service runs between Gran Canaria airport and various pre-designated drop off locations on route (excluding private addresses). San Augustin shuttle transfer prices start from £8 per person. Your transfer time is estimated to be 50 minutes, but may vary depending on traffic and the number of stops made.

Things to see and do

Discover life as it used to be here on Gran Canaria with a visit to Mundo Aborigen, an hour’s taxi ride away in Fataga. This recreation of an ancient village and its inhabitants is a great way to get a feel for the island’s history.

Head along to Playa de las Burras where the conditions are just right for windsurfing and surfing, with a selection of schools for learning along the beach. It’s also an excellent area for hiking and walking, with trails all around the coast and through the island’s national parks.

Nearby Maspalomas is famous for its sand dunes, which look like a smaller version of the Sahara desert and can be explored by camelback. It’s stunning at sunset, and visitors can cool off with a refreshing dip in the sea afterwards.

Best restaurants

Popular with the locals, and hidden away from many of the tourists, Balcon is a Canarian restaurant with great views out over the Maspalomas dunes and tasty food. The fresh fish dishes are particularly good, especially when finished off with a glass of the banana liqueur.

If you’re looking for a more international menu, then Addio Mare is very highly-reviewed for its pizzas plus other lunch and dinner options.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
