San Lorenzo (also called Sant Llorenc) lies inland of Ibiza’s coast. This rural Ibizan village is the perfect escape for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Surrounded by pine-clad mountains, it’s located just next to a country park (Can Pere Mosson) where a cross-cross of hiking trails, viewpoints and picnic tables attracts walkers and families enjoying the outdoors with the kids.
In the town itself you’ll find a traditional way of life, the local, 18th century Church of Sant Llorenc and a small playground for the children. Nearby activities include jeep safaris, horse riding treks at Ibiza Horse Valley and the San Miguel Tourist Train.

While the town isn’t next to the coast, some of the most beautiful beaches on the island are only a short taxi ride away. The best can be found at the resort of Santa Eularia, which has some stunning stretches of sand including Cala Llenya and Cala Nova. Further north is the lovely beach of Cala Xarraca at Portinatx.
