What to do in the North Mahe Area
In the North Mahe Area there are several beaches you can visit during your upcoming holiday. Additionally, Port Launay Marine Park is an ideal place for snorkelling, as the area sports two coral reefs and about 60 different species of reef fish.
There are also activities on land that are available, such as taking a hike along the Copolia and Morne Blanc Trails. The Copolia Trail is about 1.6 km long and takes you through the dense Morne Seychelles National Park before ending at the Copolia viewpoint. The Morne Blanc Trail is described as a bit more difficult and leads you through an old tea plantation before ending at the top of the mountain. Both trails are in proximity to the Port Glaud area, which is home to the Sauzier Waterfall.
If you would rather stay in the more metropolitan areas, there are activities such as a walk through the stunning Victoria Botanical Gardens or visiting the Sri Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple. While in Victoria you can also visit the Victoria Clock Tower and nearby market, or take a guided reef safari to the St Anne Marine National Park which is just off the coast.
