Why visit Palma Nova

Palma Nova is a popular year-round destination, thanks in part to its expat community that keep it feeling lively throughout the year. Not as boisterous as its neighbour Magaluf, it’s a popular holiday destination among British tourists for its budget-friendly accommodation, family-friendly fun and glorious beaches.

Things to do

As with many resorts in Majorca, the beaches are the main attraction in Palma Nova. Here, visitors can try diving and paddleboarding, go for a swim or simply relax on the sand. The resort is also within an easy distance of some of the best golf courses on the island, such as Golf Santa Ponsa. For the less experienced, there’s the great Fantasia Mini Golf, set in tropical gardens.

For those looking for a bit of a thrill, Katmandu Theme Park has been named the best in Majorca and Western Waterpark is located just outside the resort. Race around at Karting Magaluf or take the whole family to the Pirates Adventure Show for an evening of acrobatics and fun.

Top Excursions

One of the most popular places to visit in Majorca are the spectacular Drach Caves, or ‘dragon caves’, which can be explored in a half day trip. See some more of the Balearics with a boat trip to Dragonera Island or around the coast to Formentor. Or get a feel for the island’s past with an old fashioned train journey to the quaint island town of Soller.

Shopping in Palma Nova

The resort offers all the usual shopping opportunities, from beach shops and boutiques to convenience stores and markets selling souvenirs and gift. Only a short distance from the capital of Palma, visitors can easily indulge in some high street or designer shopping with a short bus journey.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
