Set on the shore of Lake Garda, Desenzano is an attractive little town that offers visitors easy access to the surrounding area. Don’t forget to spot by the Santa Maria Maddalena Cathedral, located in Piazza Duomo, for its murals and architecture.
Of course, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy during your stay as well. Enjoy a swim in Lake Garda, or some sunbathing on the shore, do a lap or two in the outdoor pool or head to the tennis courts for a game. The main attraction is, of course, Lake Garda itself. While this section of the lake is not as spectacular as the more mountainous part further round, visitors can still appreciate the views from afar.
