What to do in Queenstownn
Queenstown, situated on New Zealand's South Island, likes to call itself ‘the adventure capital of the world’ and it’s easy to see why. Located on the shore of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, amid glorious alpine mountain ranges and rivers, it attracts a heavy dose of adrenaline seekers, as well as walkers and families.
If you’re looking for outdoor activities, you’re in luck. Queenstown has a whole year’s worth of adventure sports and outdoor things to do, from skiing in the winter to mountain biking in the summer.
